Job Description
Role Objective:
- Achieving of gross to net margin budgets month on month.
- To complete seasonal range planning & incorporate good, better, best balance as per Company strategy.
- Develop credible vendor strategy to ensure balance range with appropriate quality & achieve targeted payment terms.
- To source and establish the credible group of vendors to deliver quality and value as directed. To establish pricing architecture that reflects our customer requirements and aspirations. Building an appropriate range as per customers requirement.
Responsibilities
- As a National Buyer you would be responsible to deliver Category Sales & Gross margin budget.
- Completes balance seasonal range planning to achieve financial targets for the Category.
- Develop credible vendor strategy to ensure balance range with appropriate quality & achieve targeted payment terms.
- Negotiating with the vendor for promotions & working on markdowns.
- Coordinate with RBMs for customer Feedback and ensures customer complains / return of goods if any is facilitated with vendor.
- Ensure quality standards are achieved across all vendors.
- Ensures appropriateness of products to the rural customers to balance price, quality and value.
- Constructs promotional campaign in conjunction with marketing to drive profitable sales and create customer excitement
